He is survived by: his wife Fery (Fereshteh Ganji); his children, Bijan Haghighi (Laleh), Sean Haghighi (Amy) and Nelou Fennessy (Tim); and his grandchildren, Pasha, Tori, Trevor, Leo, Perry and Lily. He is also survived by 5 siblings.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to Community Cancer Fund.
