He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marlaine" Hibbard; his children, David Sams (Monica Fausett) and Donna Hensley (Kevin); his sisters, Carol Schreibeis (Gene), Mollie Menchaca (Israel) and Chris Summers; and his grandchildren, David C. Sams (Kristin), Michael Hensley (Lindsey), Ashley Martin (AJ) and Brad Hensley (Candace). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
