He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; his sons, David and Daniel; and his parents, Fred and Ethel.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Vaughter, Terry Schaefer and Diana Noble (Vincent); his brothers, Henry and Joe; and his stepchildren, Eric, Gayle and Marc Hansen. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
