He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coughlin and Lucy Craft Coughlin; his son David; and his siblings, Effie, Dorothy, Nelly, John Jr., Edward (Bud), James, Tom, Donald and Delmar.
He is survived by: his children, Diana, Richard, Andrea, Cheryl, Bill and Vachiraporn Nakammakote (Coughlin); his wife Anchalee Thammajaroen; his sister Carolyn; his children, Sheryl and Apollo; and his grandchildren, Eric, Erin, Sarah, Christopher, Nicholas, Brandon, Joshua, Rodney, Kaylene, Michael, Krysten, Leslie, Robert (Albaugh), Bobby, Adam, Leenay and Sara.
