She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Gookin (Link) and Logan Gookin. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sons, Brian (Megan) and Donald; her granddaughter Keylee; and her sisters, Shirley Swenson (Gookin) and Charlene Shroeder (Gookin).
A multiple-time cancer survivor, many will remember Vonnie for her work as a teller at US Bank, as a founding member of the Soap Lake Education Foundation, or from holiday craft bazaars, but her true loves were bowling and family.
