He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillary Hector and Charlene Hatley; his stepmother Jodi Majors; his brother Dennis Hector; and his nephew Daniel Hector.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Hector; his children, Karen (Jeff), Tracy (Mike), Jeff (Heather), Matt (Melissa), Jenn (David) and Wendy (Aaron); and his siblings, Ellen, Brett and Bart. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
