With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Cheryl Rowland of Soap Lake, Washington, born in Oroville, California, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Braten (Schwartz); her aunts, Estelle Wallace and Louise Nero; her uncle Eddie Schwartz; her foster parents, Joe, Viola Green and Matthew Bixler; and her close friend Linda Hoffman.
She is survived by: her friends, Niel and Barb Rowe; her son Justin Rowland of Moses Lake; and her siblings, Raymond McVey of California, Chuck McVey of Veradale, Fred Braten of Rhode Island, Gaylee Mackie of Idaho and Bill Braten (Debbie) of Idaho. She is also survived by numerous cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts can be made to one of the two organizations that were close to Momma Rowland; The McKay Healthcare and Rehab Activities or Spokane Shriners Hospital for Children.
