“Barb and I just heard about Phil today. We are both so saddened by his passing, and we want to send our love to Karen and the rest of the family. Phil was a wonderful guy and an extremely kind person, and we loved him dearly. I remember many of the great and funny conversations I had with Phil about his questions involving LDA - he was an intrepid questioner and I had to laugh many times about how exacting he was. We will both miss him a great deal, and we absolutely know that everyone will.”

“I owe my life and my career to Phil. After I had to quit surgery for soap allergy I became severely environmentally ill with terrible chronic fatigue, MCS, allergy to everything losing 8 pounds a month. Other docs thought I was nuts. We saw Phil and Karen on a ferry and my wife said go see Phil. Phil gave me my life back and inspired me to retrain in environmental medicine. He was also an excellent Christian role model. A thoroughly good man who will be missed by all who knew him.”
