“My dear friend Jewel... In 2007, upon becoming friends with your son Allan, I met you shortly thereafter. Over the many years since. I have spent countless visits and hours with my friend chatting, laughing about everything from hummingbirds to raising our children .Jewel and I share the same bday month with our May birthdays ten days a part. I cooked many dinners and cups of tea and enjoyed with my dear friend, many times, talking, sharing into the late night hours. I love you Jewel. XO Mel”
