He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Illman; his daughter-in-law Judy; and his siblings, Bruce, Vince, Beulah and Harry.

He is survived by: his sons, Duane (Genevieve) and Mark; his granddaughters, Bethany and Heather; and his great grandchild Kyra.
