He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Lucero and Bengino Lucero; and his siblings, Gerald Hodge, Benny Lucero and Patricia Dean.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse Lucero of Seattle, Michael Lucero of Olympia, Jerry Lucero (Carol), Judy Lucero of Shelton and Margaret Hodge of Olympia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
