He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Nault and Virginia Nault. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Duane B. Nault Jr. (Robin), Kelly Scott (Steve) and Dannielle Knutson; and his stepchildren, Lori Chappell, Clint Arney (Michelle) and Kurt Arney (Sarah).

His charity of choice is Care Net, Samaritan's Purse and Providence Hospice who took excellent supportive care of Duane and his family during his final days.
