He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Simmons and Jane A. Simmons (McGrath). He is survived by: his wife Lydia Primmiser Simmons of Austria; and his siblings, Christine Lebowitz (Arthur) of Tempe, AZ, Steve (Dolly) of San Antonio, Tom (Jayne) of Columbus and Roger (Margot) of Powell. He is also survived by four nieces, five nephews, four great nieces and five great nephews.
