Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Halsaver and Katheryn Halsaver (Proper). He is survived by: his wife Donna Halsaver; his sons, Ric and Jeff Halsaver; his grandchildren, Mariah Patterson, Kylie Rivera, Dakota Halsaver and Ryan Halsaver; and his great grandchild Jacob Patterson.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sequim Valley Chapel (108 W Alder St, Sequim, WA 98382). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sequim View Cemetery (1505 Sequim-Dungeness Way, Sequim, WA 98382). The military honors was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
