He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia and Lewis; his stepfather Carl Gafvert; and his half-sister Joanne Ferber. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his stepdaughters, Janette Bucholtz and Melody Janssen; his children, Katelyn Woods (Tyler) and Richard Campen (Kathleen); his sister Bunny Rudder (John); his niece Julie Vanderschaegen (Val); his nephew Mark Meyer; his half-brother Pat Campen (Linda); and his grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Austin Bucholtz, Alissa Kreuscher, Jacob Adams, Aubrey Campen and Ryan Campen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
