He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Conrad Schneider and Elizabeth Schneider; his aunt Katherine Fischer (Samuel); his cousin Adeline; and his wife Jeanette. He was also cherished by grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
In 1958 they moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when Henry received the Ford Foundation Scholarship to pursue graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University.
