He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Giefer and Mary Giefer; his sister Marjorie Giefer; and his daughter Kara Ryeshar. He is survived by: his wife Kay Ann; his son Eric Giefer (Jessica); his granddaughters, Rose and Lily; his son-in-law Shaun Ryeshar; his children, Aiden, Lucas and Ziva; and his siblings, Joseph Giefer (Karey), Barbara Ickler (Robert), Mary Jean Cernohous (Leonard) and Richard Giefer (Renee). He is also survived by his nieces/nephews, and many friends.
