She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Watson and Wilda Watson; her children, Larry, David and May Nicholson; her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Ruth Watson of Middleton, Maryland.; and her husband Lorne Nicholson. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and two daughters-in-law.

She made the community better by her commitment to children, her service in all endeavors, and her financial donations.
