She was predeceased by: her parents, Talton Roberts and Valentine Roberts; her son Gary King; and her siblings, Thomas Roberts, Irene Middleton, Lucille Daughery and Cleta Putnam.
She is survived by: her close friend Theodore Cummings; and her son Richard Henry King. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
