He is survived by: his wife Lucy (Lualene); his children, Tracy Thomas of Malad, ID and Edwin Piedel of Sedro-Woolley, WA; and his grandchildren, Desiree Butler (Cody), Heather Smith (Brad), Joey Piedel and Mercedes Gianchetta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
