He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine P Lamphiear and Theodore M Lamphiear; his children, Fred Turcott (Shawna), Russell Lamphiear, Keith Turcott and Lisa Nations (Bob); his grandchildren, Kaylee Lamphiear, Rebecca Turcott, Makaila Wilson, Danielle Dominguez, Star Lamphiear, Karri Wilson and Brandon Barnett; his brother Gary Lamphiear; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Paylor, Sandy McGuire (DeWayne), Joy Arendse (Karl) and Patsy Counts (Greg). He was also cherished by friends countless hours of enjoyment. "We know you needed to go, we just love and miss you so. You taught us to never give up and always try, so with breaking hearts we must say goodbye. Though our lives are forever changed without you here, all the love and memories you leave with us will keep you forever near." Dan is survived by his wife.
