It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Seamas Brendan Markey of Seattle, Washington, born in Fostoria, Ohio, who passed away on September 29, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. S. R. Markey M. D. and Helen L. Matthews Markey; his brother Sean; and his parents-in-law, Arnold "Skee" Salisbury and Adeline Salisbury.
He is survived by: his daughter Keely (Seattle Seahawks); his siblings, Camille Crawford (Rich) of Lothian, Maureen Markey (Peter Rose) of San Diego, Patrick (Deidre Quinn) of Bozeman, Melissa Whitmer (Garry) of Fostoria, Anne Risner of Fostoria, Kathryn Markey of Portland, Matthew (Linda) of Port Clinton, Siobhan Holman (Terry) of Alvada, Colleen Markey-Rowe (Steve) of Fostoria, Brian (Gina Willis) of Big Sandy, Shannon (Kim Sekelsky) of Milford and Amy Everding (Bill) of Tiffin; and his godchildren, Blaise Markey of Bluffton and Alicia Markey of Corvallis, Oregon. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
