She was predeceased by: her parents, John McDowell and Kathryn McDowell; her husband Ernest Alan Heald; and her daughters, Mona Heald and Judy Sansone.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Heald and Matt Thorne (Roemehl); her son-in-law Nick Sansone; and her grandson Shiloh Lerner.
