It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Louise Hjort of Seattle, Washington, born in Snohomish, Washington, who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Seattle First Baptist Church (1111 Harvard Ave, Seattle, WA 98122).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to KUOW/NPR, Cascade PBS or the Bayview Manor Foundation.
