Jack W. Hauptli Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jack W. Hauptli (Seattle, Washington), who passed away at the age of 97, on April 12, 2017. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Gary (Lee), Beverly Hauptli and Janice Sleight; his great grandchild Lelia; and his sons, Terry, Scot (Yvonne), Hunter Jamison (Lynnie), Adding and Dad.
Surviving are his son Gary (Lee), two daughters, Beverly Hauptli and Janice Sleight, three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and Lelia Belle's three sons, Terry, Scot (Yvonne) and Hunter (Lynnie) Jamison, and their families." A note from family. Adding to what our Dad wrote for his obit years ago, we know he never expected to live until 971/2. Our Dad loved intensely. He loved his family, friends, journalism, camping and beagles. The day he journeyed on, he was on his iPad and computer reading The Seattle Times and Washington Post. Dad's beautiful heart finally gave out. He passed peacefully in his beloved home - just as he wished. He is now back with his Lelia Belle where he wanted to be. Jack spent his life serving others. In his death, he will continue to do so. "He will help 100s of people," says the UW researcher involved with the Willed Body Program. Dad has been part of the A.C.T. longevity study since 1995. "Jack is an amazing man." Donations may be made to: http://www.friendsofmoran.org.
