Dorothy Panero Schlinger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Panero Schlinger in Seattle, Washington, born in Clovis, California, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Panero and Adrienne Panero (Villard); her husband Edwin Schlinger; and her children, Anne Lynn, Michael John and Thomas Edwin Schlinger.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Schlinger (Dan Hines) and Bill Schlinger (Veronica Schlinger); and her grandchildren, Annie, Claire Hines, Bodie, Jorene Schlinger and Kyauna Castillo-Chavez. She is also survived by sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews, additional family and friends.

Donations in her memory can be made to the St. James Cathedral Scholarship Fund or the Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Scholarship Fund, Bellevue, WA.
