He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Wells; his daughter Julia McElhose; his stepson Eric Wells; and his father Robert McElhose. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Andrew, Stephen, Daniel, John and Kenneth; his stepchildren, Theresa, Wanda, Dorothy, Vernon, Mary and Patrick; his mother Marjorie McElhose; and his brothers, Rick McElhose and Bob McElhose. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
