He was predeceased by: his father David Russell; and his friends, Kalik, Roux and Kobu. He is survived by: his mother Joan Hoffman; and his wife Diana Thomas Hoffman.
In lieu of flowers, his wife requests contributions be sent to Al-Anon Family Groups World Service Office, in keeping with Al-Anon's Tradition Seven, and with a wish that families and friends of alcoholics may be supported in their learning a better way of life, and in choosing happiness.
