She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Chester and Winnifred Lillian Galland; and her brother Chester H. Galland. She is survived by: her son Chris Norman Plyman; her daughter-in-law Bridget Lynn Plyman; her sister Barbara Ann Bessey; her siblings-in-law, William Bessey and Norma Galland; and her caregiver Tsige Kebede (family: Meri Javonovic). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
