She is survived by: her husband Brian Porter; her children, Drew and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Luke, Nick and Lily; and her brother Michael Steeves.

Dear Brian, Drew and Jennifer, We were shocked to learn that our friend Julie passed only a few days after our weekly coffee get together. Julie drove Brian every Tuesday for him to attend. Both became the light of the meeting with lots of fun. Julie will be missed at the coffee as well as proof reader for the magazine of Association DE LIJn known as HALlo. But she will not be forgotten! Wish strength to Porters”
