James Richard Yerges Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Yerges of Sammamish, Washington, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Yerges and RoseMary Yerges. He is survived by: his son-in-law Ryan; his granddaughter Shay Rose; his wife Tina; his daughters, Jackie Sweeney (Ryan) of Bothell, WA, Jensen Woods of Brooklyn, NY and Elena Yerges of Sammamish, WA; his grandchild Kieran James; and his siblings, Randy Yerges (Lisa) of Ballwin, MO, Susan Yerges of Pierre, SD and Kevin Yerges (Cathy) of Cambridge, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
After Covid, he was trying to find opportunities to see his first grandchild more, he was starting to bike again, and he also decided he needed to get back to work a bit ("for fun") and started a part-time job working for RSM LLP in Seattle and looked forward to contributing in the professional world again.
The family welcomes remembrances of Jim to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
