We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2019, at the age of 87, Donald M Newton (Sammamish, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Newton and Virgean Newton; his children, Scott and Nancy; and his siblings, Howard and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Johnson; his daughters, Doneen DeMeester (Wayne), Lori Salmon (Bruce) and Cheryl Harker (Michael); and his siblings, Rita Sommerfeldt, Wallace Newton (Norene), Thea Perrier, Lloyd Newton (Gerry) and Peggy Sloan (Pat). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers you are invited to donate to the "Coach Don Newton Memorial Scholarship" at the University of Calgary.
