She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Purnell and Nora Purnell (Mallgren); her former husband Richard Dean Agee; her children, Jennifer Agee, Stacey Agee, Lynette Agee and Mark Agee; her husband Edwin Wirkkala; her stepchildren, Dianne Forberg, Jan Hager, Connie May, Susan Petreye and Steve Wirkkala; and her siblings, Esther Messick and Merton Purnell. She was also cherished by four children.
