He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his daughter Billie Gail (Eric); his grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler and Ryan; and his siblings, Butch (Jan) and Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Bill and I connected back in the early 90’s at the snowmobile shop and I often felt like an adopted son. He was always up for a chat that often led to Patsy waiting long after closing time waiting for us to finish. I was honored to have this great family at my wedding in 1995. This is where they gave us 2 signed and extremely limited paintings Polaris commissioned. I still have them hanging in the house. Now I even cherish them more. I’m sure he touched the heart of so many others like me. RIP!”
