He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Santos Ontiveros. He is survived by: his wife Reina Diaz; his stepchildren, Elias Mora, Nevaeh Turner and Elijah Turner of Rock Island, WA; his parent Sara Sagal of Puerto Cisnes, Chile; his siblings, Daniela Alejandra Aburto Sagal, Nicolas Ronaldo Aburto Sagal, Melva Estefania Aburto Sagal and Valentina Antonella Aburto Sagal of Puerto Cisnes, Chile; his mother-in-law Reyna Molina of Rock Island, WA; his siblings-in-law, Lupe Ontiveros, Maria Ontiveros, Marisela Ontiveros of Rock Island, WA, Hilario Ontiveros of Rock Island, WA, Isidro Ontiveros, Jamie Ontiveros of East Wenatchee, WA and Javier Ontiveros of Rock Island, WA; and his great-nephew Josiah Figueroa. He is also survived by his 22 nieces and nephews; and eight great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at his place of birth, Puerto Cisnes, Chile once pandemic restrictions are lifted. There will be a private viewing for immediate family only due to the pandemic restriction.
