It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Bloomquist (Ridgefield, Washington), who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Kielman and Herman Kielman. She is survived by: her children, Marlene Byerly (Roger), Gordon Bloomquist (Kay) and Bill Bloomquist (Julie); her grandchildren, Tanya Kesmodel (David), Mendy Benson (Kevin), Becky Lawson (Jeff), Chad Benson (Rhiannon), Kara Bullock, Jeff Bloomquist (Skye) and Cory Bloomquist (Rachael); and her great grandchildren, Payton, Greta, Lucas, Kendall, Hailey, Ashton, Tobie, Erickson, Camrynn, Beau, Kinley, Braelyn, Harlow, Marilyn, Wrenley and Eva.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Babies in Need (https://babiesinneed.org) where Dottie donated over 2, 500 quilts that she made.
