He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Maude and Gerald C. Sorensen, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Stuart and Riley. He is survived by: his siblings, Vivian, Kenneth, Gaye and Arlo; and his children, Caryn Thornhill (Keith), Kristin Hunt (Jonathan), Kraig Sorensen (Stephanie), Ryan Sorensen (Amy), Rustin Sorensen (Deeana), Steven Sorensen (Rozann) and Alison Risenmay (Jeff).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the LDS Richland Stake Center (1720 Thayer Dr, Richland, WA 99352). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
