She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Reed and Clara Reed; her husband Novell Burnside; her daughter Christina Evans; and her sister Ella Jo Hamilton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Novell (Della) and Chris; her children-in-law, Babe and Terry; her daughters, Cindy Avenson, Cheri Williams (Candy) and Candy Gerken; her grandson Jim Burnside; and her sister-in-law Mona James. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 7 great- great grandchildren.
