She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Poeske-Haber and Leander Kirstein (late Eduard Prets). She is survived by: her husband Eduard Prets; her brother John "Jack" Poeske (Sherry); and her nieces and nephews, Andrew, Suzanne, Lisa Bialek (Paul), John (Katrina), Angela Kieras (Dave) and James. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
