She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Griggs of St. Louis, MO, Patricia Green of Seattle, WA and George Harris, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; her son Paul A. Lowe, Jr.; and her granddaughters, Ashton and Ariana Lowe.
She was recognized for her contributions to President Obama's election by being selected to be a special delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado, and attendee at the 2009 Inauguration of President Barack Obama.
