He was predeceased by: his mother Janet I. Funk (Schmidt); and his grandparents, Peter Jr., Hilda Schmidt, Roy and Mary Ann Funk.
He is survived by: his father Willard R. Funk (Mary) of McPherson, KS; and his stepbrother Ryan Shaw (Jordan). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Norene Ketcherside Endowment for Fine Arts, in care of MCCF and mailed to Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
