It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Elsie Mercer of Redmond, Washington, born in Delta, Utah, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ervin Sagers and Stella Sagers; her husband Paul Mercer; her children, Tiffany Spillner (Dan) and Gregory Mercer (Jaye); her grandchildren, Nicholas Mercer and Gabrielle Mercer; her caregivers, Irene Kim, Saida Lee, Evelyn Kumsinda, Diane Speer, Christina Frankenfield, Karen Ellis, Helen Thompson, Jeff, Kim Malyon, Andy and Wendy Rice; and her friend Harriet.
In memory of Harriet's compassionate soul and her reverence for all living things, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Best Friends Animal Society, BYU TV, St. Jude Children's Hospital, supporting causes that were dear to her heart and reflective of her generous spirit.
