The passing of Genevieve Marie Cahoon (Redmond, Washington), born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 100. Though Genevieve Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Genevieve Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Henry Cahoon; her daughter Lynn Chittenden (Tom); her grandsons, Tom Chittenden (Lauren) and David Chittenden of Redmond; her son Robert Cahoon; and her grandson Lance Dinwoodie.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at 10901 176th Cir NE, Redmond, WA 98052. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Jude Catholic Church (10526 166th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending donations on her behalf to St. Jude's Catholic church.
