He was predeceased by : his father Johnny Martinez. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Martinez; his children, Sarah Pinto (Edward) and Gabriel Jr. Martinez; his grandchildren, Micah and Mia Pinto; his mother Mary Martinez; and his siblings, Susie Medrano (Pat), Johnny Martinez, Fred Martinez, Greg Martinez (Abby) and Elizabeth Kondo (Ross).

A rosary was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (805 Central Ave N, Quincy, WA 98848). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at the Quincy Valley Cemetery (625 F St SW, Quincy, WA 98848).
