It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Ottley (Quincy, Washington), who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Edward and Vivian Udy Ottley; his former wife Margaret Gardiner; his son Forrest; and his siblings, Harold, Leo, Hugh, Gwen, Maxine and Susan.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Amanda), Richard (Leslie) and Curtis (Jennifer); his wife Gloria Gardiner; his daughter Janet Thayer Quincy; his grandchildren, Amber Baines (Darwin), Meghan Anderson (Aaron), Gretchen Astle (Dane), Adam Ottley (Rachel), Meredith Ottley, Matthew Ottley, Drew Thayer (Jolene), Evan Thayer (Terri), Mark Thayer (Amy), Lindsey Thayer, Kayzha Chapin (Matthew), Kenzie Harr (Brandon), Kandace Hershey (Michael), Dean Ottley, Jacob Ottley and Lauren Ottley; and his siblings, Vivian Crosby, DeLoy Ottley (Effie), David Ottley (Charlene) and Robert Ottley (Janice). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
