She was predeceased by: her brother Cho Song Hyu (Cho Um Chon). She is survived by: her husband Edward Barnes; her son David Barnes; her siblings, Cho Seong Kyu, Cho Choong Kyu and Cho Yeon Kyu; her nieces, Cho Minsook, Cho Mira, Cho Me Jung, Cho Jungsook, Cho Unha and Cho Unsuk; and her nephew Joe Woosung.
