It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Raymond Shelstad (Puyallup, Washington), born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gordon, Claire Shelstad and Dale Norman; his stepfather Luke; and his uncle Keith Norman.

He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Shelstad (Gina) and Tonya Norman-Shelstad (Jason); his grandmother Raean; his aunts and uncles, Kim Shelstad (Janet), Travis Norman, Cliff Reichel (Betty), Dawn Watts (Terry) and Luanne Lundberg (Richard); his cousins, Andy, Emily Shelstad, Donavon, Devon Watts, MaryAnn Steinkrauss (Matt), Nick Lundberg (Joni) and Eli Lundberg; his close friend Niko Salesky; and his friend Savannah McVittie.

In lieu of giving flowers, the family is asking those who are able to instead make a donation in remembrance of Josh to the Puyallup Parks Department or any Drug Assistance or Treatment Program in their area.
