He was predeceased by: his sister Irene Penfield. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Janine Penfield Winters (John) of New Zealand, Jennifer Penfield Nelson (Brian) of Oregon, Gabriella Penfield and Wyett Penfield of Washington; his grandchildren, Ella, John, Cassie Winters and Anson Ramsdell; and his brother Glen Penfield (Erin) of Texas.
