He was predeceased by: his parents, Simpson Mares and Alice Mares. He is survived by: his brothers, Rick Mares and Ron Mares; his children, Brian, Ashley, Chelsey and Dylan; and his wife Connie. He is also survived by four children, eleven grandchildren, two brothers, four nieces, and three nephews.
