He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Earline Luberts; his stepmother Ruth M. Luberts; his father Alfred John Luberts, Sr.; his siblings, Kathleen J. Luberts and Michael S. Luberts; and his grandparents, John H., Mary C. Luberts, John E. and Grace Corbitt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jean and Victor; his wife Darlene Luberts; his children, Elaine Kittelson (Mike), Jackie Jones (Scott) and AJ Luberts III; his sisters, Patricia Gamby (Jack) and Judi Severson (Truman); his grandchildren, Terry Dizard, Andrew Dizard, Nikki Varela, Luis Lorca-Merono III, Antonio Lorca Merono, Amber Kittelson, Ashley Luberts, Brittany Kittelson and Cierra Luberts; and his great grandchildren, Alex Dizard, Ryan Dizard, Sareesa Livi-Dizard, Caleb Dizard, Logan Dizard, Casen Clark, Amariah Ostler, Maci Jones and Mario Merono.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Word Lutheran Church (10515 269th St E, Graham, WA 98338). A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tahoma National Cemetery (18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042). A masonic service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 620 S Hill Park Dr, Puyallup, WA 98373.
